Almost every year near Christmas, a young man would knock our door and ask "Do you want me to help you to dig out those tree stumps. I think the roots are already died." We didn't think it's necessary and just leave them as part of our front yard. After cleaning my front porch this morning, I sat there to rest and suddenly found a young branch growing out of the tree stump with brand new green leaves. The new branch is so tender, it swing beautifully in the air, even attracted butterfly to stop by. They looks like died, actually they are living.
